Servant Systems Releases Mass Times iPhone Mobile App

ANN ARBOR, MI—(March 19, 2014)—Don DeSmith, president of Servant Systems, Inc. (www.servantsystems.com), announced that the software firm has released MassTimes for Travelers, an Apple iPhone app developed for the Mass Times Trust. The Mass Times Trust, a service of FAITHCatholic and the Diocese of Lansing (Michigan), provides the Masstimes.org website, a ministry to help Catholics get to Mass by allowing them to find churches and worship times worldwide. Masstimes.org has had more than 150 million church lookups.

Servant Systems, with assistance from Lunaria Software, LLC, developed the native iPhone app to provide mobile users with the ability to find Catholic Masses and other services based on the user’s current location or any location they enter. Churches are displayed on a map or listed by distance from the user. Church services also can be displayed by time of day to help users find a service at a convenient time. Available online at the Apple App Store as a free download, the iPhone app also displays directions to the church selected and allows the user to call the church automatically.

In 2009, FAITH merged with the diocese’s 40-year-old liturgical publisher, Liturgical Commission Publishings, to form FAITH Catholic. FAITH Catholic also operates Masstimes.org, a powerful tool for travelers to locate a church and Mass near them, and commissioned Servant Systems to build the Mass Times app.

Servant Systems Adds Workflow Features to Molly Maid Customer Care Software

ANN ARBOR, MI—(December 5, 2013)—Don DeSmith, President of franchise software developer Servant Systems (www.servantsystems.com) announced the completion of new software updates to the Molly Maid Customer Care System (CCS) which Servant Systems originally developed in 1992 for the residential home cleaning service.

Building on Molly Maid’s CCS “Outlook Release” introduced last spring, Servant Systems has just added “Workflow” features. These features are designed to improve customer retention with the ability to automate specific time consuming tasks such as reminder calls in this first edition. Reminder calls can be send via traditional email, text (SMS) or text-to-speech (TTS), thus reducing the amount of time and effort involved in certain communication tasks.

A future version will offer additional workflows providing several additional customer satisfaction and retention-based workflows.

“Our franchisees have seen a significant amount of cost and time savings by automating specific tasks in their offices. This has allowed the employees to focus on answering the phone live and to provide better customer support to their valued customers. We are currently working on additional workflows that will further boost our customer retention efforts and expect to deliver these in 2014,” said Eric Niemiec, Director of IT for Molly Maid and Service Brands International.

The current CCS software was developed using the latest Microsoft technology, including Microsoft Windows Workflow Foundation, Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL Server. CCS is an integrated software application that automates Molly Maid’s organization of repetitive residential cleanings from initial scheduling through customer payment.

Servant Systems Delivers More High Performance Software Features For Molly Maid Customer Care

ANN ARBOR, MI—(May 7, 2013)—Franchise software developer Servant Systems (www.servantsystems.com) has added new software features to the Molly Maid Customer Care System (CCS) it originally developed in 1992 for the residential home cleaning service franchise.

The newly added Price Increase Module allows franchisees to easily adjust their prices based on costs and market conditions. Franchisees can now make regular or scheduled price adjustments with groups of customers rather than making individual or random changes.

“The ‘Outlook release’ of CCS was introduced in spring 2013. It is termed the “Outlook release” because it adds compelling features like calendars and tasks that function much like those of Microsoft Outlook,” said Don DeSmith, President of Servant Systems. For example, it lets franchise owners or managers create company-wide appointments, view the calendars or tasks of staff members, and assign appointments or tasks to any staff member, and it monitors the status of all these activities. Users can create one-time or recurring appointments and tasks to organize their work. Managers can also set work days and hours of each staff member to be visible to all users. All this is intended to help franchise staff members improve their coordination and organization as Molly Maid franchisees continue to grow their customer base. At the recent Molly Maid Annual Convention franchisees were thrilled with the new features and their potential for performance improvement.

CCS is an integrated software application that automates Molly Maid’s organization of repetitive residential cleanings from initial scheduling through customer payment.
